Rurimeria is the third-highest point in the Aberdare ranges, standing at 3,860m. The trail starts deceptively easy before revealing its true self — endless moorland, false summits, and tall grass that brushes your knees, your face, and eventually, your ego.
It's not technical, but it is relentless. Expect altitude to speak to you. Expect silence to answer back.
This is a trail that humbles and clears. A full-day dialogue between you and the mountain, with no shortcuts.
