PWA Generator

Scaffold Progressive Web Apps with minimal effort. Generates manifest, icons, and a service worker with multiple caching strategies.

About this project

PWA Generator is a small web tool for scaffolding the files most apps need to become installable: a web app manifest, icons, and a service worker.

Fill in the forms, download manifest.json and sw.js, and drop them into an existing site. It is aimed at developers who want a working starting point rather than a full PWA framework.

The generator currently covers manifest, icons, service worker, and offline support. IndexedDB and push notifications are on the roadmap.

Highlights

Open Source: MIT-licensed scaffolding for PWA manifests, icons, and service workers.

Active: Live on Netlify with additional hosting on Cloudflare Pages.
