Twitter CLI lets you tweet without going to Twitter. A productivity improvement for creators.
Twitter CLI is a Rust command-line client for posting and managing Twitter (X) without opening the website. It exists to keep publishing in the terminal and out of the doomscrolling loop.
It talks to Twitter API v2 with OAuth 1.0a user tokens, and later commands add OAuth 2.0 where the API requires it. Configuration lives in a TOML file with multiple accounts, validation, and an interactive setup flow.
The same binary covers tweeting (including threads and images), scheduling, lists, DMs, likes, bookmarks, streams, and a usage dashboard. Installers ship checksum-verified binaries for Unix and Windows, with self-update support.
Unix friendly: Pipes, files, and $EDITOR fit the existing shell workflow instead of a separate web UI.
Cross platform: Released binaries for Linux, macOS, and Termux, with an install script that verifies checksums.
Easy setup: Copy API credentials into a local TOML config. No browser OAuth redirect for the core tweet flow.
